  •  The detection of fluorescently labeled proteins requires a high performance imaging system. The new Octoplus QPLEX Imager has been especially developed for the analyses of 2D gel based experiments using G-Dyes , S-Dyes,T-Rex and  for quantitative 1D gel and Western blot analysis using the Smart Labels. Octoplus QPLEX combines fast image acquisition from large 2D fluorescence gels (20 x 24 cm) or multicolor 1D gels and blots with high sensitivity and the robust setup for daily routine.
Based on superior CCD technology, high performance excitation of fluorophores, and on a fine tuned filter set we were surprised by the performance of the system.Furthermore, Octoplus QPLEX allows you to perform powerful fluorescence multiplex analyses, extremely sensitive chemiluminescence detection (low picogram range), and optional acquire images from silver- or Coomassie Blue stained gels.
